Animals

I love to paint animals.  We live on a small farm in the Black Hills of South Dakota where we raise cattle.  Being a farm wife I get a chance to be up close and personal with a variety of animals.  Wild turkey, grouse and deer visit daily as well as the domestic animals.  Our miniature Australian Shepherd, Sofie is our "baby".  Sometimes my wolves, raccoons, and other similar animals end up with Aussie noses.  Since I am up close and personal with a shepherd's nose, I seem to paint what I know.  These are some of the animals for sale in the studio.  If you have a favorite animal, need a portrait of your pet, or have a specific idea in mind, let us know.  We paint to order but keep in mind the artist is allowed artistic interpretation.
